Job Title: Lead Access Control Technician

Location: Arlington, TX

Pay Rate: starting at $33/hr

Position Summary:

Anistar Technologies is seeking a Lead Access Technician to install and service access control, CCTV, and surveillance systems.

The Lead Access Technician leads teams or crews in the installation and/or service of new equipment, system repairs, and troubleshooting. The role supports the security solutions business by installing and maintaining electronic security systems, including intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV equipment.

Responsibilities:

Perform installation of security management solutions such as access control, intrusion alarms, CCTV systems, and other related systems. Install, configure, and test equipment and devices to ensure completion of the final product.

Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, reconfigure, and test equipment and devices; perform repairs as needed.

Upgrade and add to existing systems to enhance functionality and usability.

Perform computer programming to add CCTV cameras, access control devices, and intrusion alarm systems as required.

Coordinate with administration and other trades to complete projects and work orders efficiently.

Read and interpret drawings and prints to install equipment accurately.

Terminate equipment and field devices, verifying operation from the field to reporting systems.

Lead team members, delegate tasks, and demonstrate proper techniques.

Be flexible and willing to perform any required tasks to complete daily objectives.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

Ability to read technical documents, drawings, and prints.

Good communication skills and ability to think quickly in a fast-paced, technical environment.

Experience with IP-based systems is a plus.

Experience with voice/data cabling is required.

Certifications such as OSHA 30, Milestone, Software House, Lenel, S2, Genetec, and Axis are highly desirable.
