Job Overview
Safe Haven of Tarrant County is seeking a Part-time (Overnight) Client Advocate to assist shelter residents with daily living needs and provide general support to ensure the safety of residents, staff, and the building with minimal direct supervision.
The ideal candidate will have six months of experience working in a residential facility, shelter, or similar environment, and a Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or sociology is preferred.
Responsibilities- Assist shelter residents with daily living needs
- Provide general support and shelter coverage
- Conduct intake assessments and resident orientations
- Maintain and update the client database
- Prepare rooms for new residents
- Conduct safety checks
- Six months of experience working in a residential facility, shelter, or similar environment
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or sociology preferred
