Senior Java Developer Career Opportunity
Our client, a global leader in contact center solutions, is looking for a dynamic, high‑energy individual to join their Workforce Management (WFM) software development team as a Senior Software Engineer. This engineer will primarily focus on server‑side component design, development, testing, and implementation. Client‑side development experience is a plus. The role operates in an Agile development environment and follows all Agile processes and practices.

- Design and develop quality, well‑documented technical solutions that satisfy business requirements and meet corporate architectural standards.
- Develop solid unit, integration, and automation tests according to organizational standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance of existing software applications; identify and implement additional improvements when warranted; work with external stakeholders as needed.
- Develop technical models and design for assigned components.
- Contribute to and drive technological and architectural decisions.
- Participate in reviewing design and code for other team members.
- Elevate team performance by recognizing strengths and improvement areas, providing coaching and development techniques.
- Work with Scrum Teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
- Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional Java web application development.
- Expertise in server‑side development using Hibernate, Spring, and RESTful Web Services in Java, including server‑side testing with JUnit, Mockito/Easy Mock.
- Experience with AWS is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI‑Assisted Development tools (e.g., Carousel, Copilot, Windsurf AI).
- Demonstrated experience with multi‑tier web application development.
- Hands‑on experience with Continuous Integration and Test‑Driven Development.
- Experience with JBoss or Tomcat.
- Prior experience with Maven and Jenkins is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
