Remote full‑time Software Engineer on a regular full‑time, direct hire basis for a fintech client in Dallas, Texas.

$120,000 – $165,000 per year

• Design, build, and maintain a real‑time market data pipeline
• Develop low‑latency and high‑throughput services in C++, Go, or C
• Work with multicast, TCP, Kafka, and custom streaming protocols
• Own CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production rollouts
• Troubleshoot production issues involving networking, latency, and data correctness
• Improve observability (metrics, logs, alerts)
• Participate in on‑call rotation and Tier‑1 production support
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Program Managers, and downstream consumers

• Strong experience in systems or backend engineering
• Proficiency with at least one of: C++ Linux, C#/.NET, or GoLang (3+ years)
• Experience building or operating high‑throughput, real‑time systems
• Understanding of debugging processes, memory, and networking issues
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred or Terraform)
• Comfortable owning services end‑to‑end in production

• Kernel bypass (DKP, Onload, or EFVI) experience
• Advanced Kafka knowledge (producers, consumers, partitions, replay)
• Experience with co‑located data centers
• Financial market data experience (equities, options, futures, FX, crypto) and knowledge of order book trading, BBO, and trade volume
