Senior Systems Platform Developer
Serve as Technical Lead on assigned projects, applying advanced-level experience developing applications using PHP, MySQL, Zend Framework, hosted cloud-based (AWS) architecture (S3, containerization, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.), as well as deep knowledge in use of load-balanced, auto-scaling and fault-tolerant platforms, as well as in transferring files to and from the public cloud (AWS). Engage in hands‑on evaluations of new technologies, processes, and strategies, including design patterns, software platforms, programming languages, and continuous integration.
Develop prototypes, pilots, or first versions of software components. Mentor and train other developers on new applications and / or components to ensure that integration, testing, and release occurs in an accurate and timely fashion. Participate in the development of unit tests and overall test strategy for new applications and / or components. Provide peer code reviews when necessary. Work closely with other Architects and Lead Engineers to develop and track metrics that enhance performance and supportability of software components.
- Must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related
- Must have 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related, including 3 years of experience with:
Developing applications using PHP, MySQL and Zend Framework Developing applications hosted cloud-based (AWS) architecture (S3, containerization, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.) Load-balanced, auto-scaling and fault-tolerant platforms Transferring files to and from the public cloud (AWS)

Salary Range: $101,192 - $105,000 per year
