Position

Immediate opening for a SOLO Regional NON CDL Truck Driver in Arlington, TX.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly: $1282 or more per week
• Hours Per Week: 45-50 hours
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.43 per mile (2,100-2,200 miles per week)
• Solo Stops Pay: $13.50 per stop (17-23 stops per week)
• Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night (3 nights per week)
• Overnights for routes in Ryder‑booked hotels
• Paid Training
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, NO WEEKENDS
• Start Time: 6:00 AM
• Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance, and are fueled at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Must have verifiable driving experience (if position requires a straight truck or box truck):
  • 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requiring compliance with safety regulations, continuous training, and customer service.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards.
• Maintaining accurate records.
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Other tasks as assigned.
