Arlington Warehouse 1st Shift Supervisor

Location: Arlington, TX (Onsite)
Schedule: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday from 4:30 AM to 1:00 PM)
Starting Pay: Salary | Weekly Pay

Turn 14 Distribution is looking for a motivated and dependable 1stShift
Warehouse Supervisor to join our Arlington team! This role will be critical in managing our rapidly growing operations. We will rely on this person for front-line management, as well as for idea generation and implementation, to help improve our productivity and quality.

• Manage a team of 1 - 2 Leads and 10 - 20 Warehouse Associates
• Responsible for the accurate and timely approval of timesheets via Ceridian Dayforce
• Responsible for evaluating staff and writing effective performance reviews
• Tracks attendance and prepares corrective action when needed
• Advanced knowledge of operations in at least two departments, and can be held accountable for those areas
• Ensures successful preparation of the shift by arriving with enough time to receive pass-downs from the departing supervisors
• Communicates to other departments about issues in a timely fashion (Customer Support, Accounting, etc.)
• Ensures 5S is completed daily
• Utilize reports to accurately assess and manage labor demands

• 2 - 5 years' experience leading in hospitality, retail, construction, or other departments
• OP and Forklift Certified (or ability to complete the certification process)
• Positive, winning attitude and leads by example
• Understands how to apply our Core Valuesto the operation
• Proven drive and willingness to constantly improve
• Strong record of managing a team that wants to perform
• Has proficient oral and written communication skills
• Makes effective judgment calls when needed
• Ability to efficiently and effectively resolve conflicts
• Maintains a safe work environment and enforces Turn 14 Distribution policies
• Proficient computer skills

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to safely lift and move products as required
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and work in a warehouse environment
