Tax Senior

TKR is an award‑winning tax, assurance, and advisory firm headquartered in the Washington, DC metropolitan region. We are seeking a full‑time, experienced tax senior interested in challenging assignments and working directly with partners, senior leadership, and clients. We provide the training, experience, and resources necessary for you to achieve professional and personal goals while building long‑term relationships.

• Utilize research, foundational tax, and accounting skills to identify potential risks and opportunities on a variety of tax compliance and consulting engagements
• Prepare and review complex tax returns, projections, and models
• Learn from on‑the‑job coaching and mentoring
• Build on technical skills by keeping up with industry trends and technical authorities and applying them to complex situations
• Demonstrate effective project and time‑management skills by prioritizing a variety of tasks and delegating work to associates
• Support the growth and development of team members and help associates meet their professional goals

• 2+ years of public accounting experience
• Self‑motivation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Foundational knowledge of technical tax concepts
• CPA or EA license preferred, but not required
• BS/BA degree in Accounting
• Workplace knowledge of GAAP accounting and financial reporting
