Base Pay Range

Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a client in Arlington, VA seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This position is responsible for managing general ledger activities, preparing financial statements, supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month‑end and year‑end close.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Analyze variances and trends to provide insights into financial performance.
• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with process improvements and implementation of best practices within the accounting function.
