Job Title: Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join a dynamic finance team within a fast-paced and growing organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to core accounting operations while gaining exposure to a variety of financial functions. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

• Execute monthly and quarterly accounting close processes
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare loan draws for development portfolio
• Manage routine accounting functions including journal entries for revenue, accounts payable, prepaid expenses, and debt transactions
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to deliver ad-hoc accounting reports
• Serve as a liaison with external auditors, lenders, and vendors
• Support the preparation of cash forecasts to assess short- and long-term liquidity needs

• 1–2 years of experience in external audit or general ledger accounting within a for-profit organization
• CPA license or active CPA candidate preferred
• Industry experience in renewable energy, construction, or real estate is a plus
• Familiarity with technical accounting topics and intercompany consolidation activities
• Experience with ERP systems such as Net Suite, Oracle, or similar platforms
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with finance, treasury, operations, and legal teams
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
