Accounting Manager - Residential Real Estate

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, month end close, compliance and accounting operations for a portfolio of properties. Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting manager will lead accounting staff, review financial reporting and serve as a key business partner to property management and leadership teams.

Salary - $100-$110k - bonus

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager

• Oversee the month end close process for property portfolios
• Manage, mentor and develop accounting staff
• Analyze budgets versus actual results
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, operating agreements and management agreements
• Develop a strong understanding of invoice workflow and accounting processes within Yardi

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 4+ years of real estate accounting experience required
• Current Yardi experience required
• Residential real estate accounting experience required
• Supervisory experience/has served as a lead required
