Aboutthe role
The Executive Assistant (EA) is a trusted partner to the CTO, responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role manages the CTO's calendar, communications, travel, and administrative workflows, enabling focus on strategic priorities. The EA must be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
What you’ll do- Calendar & Time Management:
Strategically manage the CTO's calendar, scheduling and prioritizing meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, partners, and clients. - Email & Communication Management:
Triage, prioritize, and draft responses to communications; ensure the CTO's time is focused on the most critical matters. - Meeting Support:
Prepare agendas, materials, and context for meetings; capture and track follow-up actions to completion. - Travel & Logistics:
Book and manage all domestic and international travel arrangements, ensuring seamless itineraries and proactive issue resolution. - Expense Management:
Process, reconcile, and track expense reports accurately and on time. - Point of Contact:
Serve as a discreet and reliable liaison between the CTO and stakeholders, managing communications with judgment and professionalism. - Administrative Excellence:
Manage day-to-day operational needs (document prep, vendor coordination, etc.) to support the CTO's effectiveness. - Proactive Support:
Anticipate needs, identify solutions, and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 3+ years supporting senior-level executives in a fast‑paced environment
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to maintain discretion and handle confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint, and collaboration platforms (Teams, Slack, Zoom)
- 5+ years of professional experience supporting senior executives
- Prior experience in a scaling technology company or startup environment
- Strong computer literacy, including project management and scheduling tools
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth setting
$115,000 - $145,000

Salary and EquityThe salary range for this role is an estimate and is based on a wide variety of compensation factors. The salary offered to candidates will vary based on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) relevant work experience, education, specialized training, critical expertise, training, and more. Equity in Forterra is included in most of our full-time, high-demand roles and is therefore considered part of Forterra's overall compensation package.
