Automotive Technician Associate - Arlington – National Car Rental

Enterprise Mobility operates the Enterprise Rent‑A‑Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo brands. The National/Alamo brand offers an apprenticeship for an Automotive Technician Associate. The role spans up to six months working alongside Automotive Technicians to learn diagnosing and repairing vehicles across several manufacturer lines until the necessary qualifications are achieved.

• Tool allowance of $600 annually when four ASEs are earned and promotion to Automotive Technician is achieved

• Work alongside an experienced automotive technician as directed to gain experience in repairing vehicles to manufacturer specifications.
• Complete manufacturer‑required training and warranty/recall repairs.
• Install ADA parts as required after training.
• Maintain accurate repair history and inventory tracking.
• Follow safety, health, and environmental procedures.
• Participate in company and manufacturer training to update job knowledge.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with uniform standards.
• Perform related duties as required.

• Two years of automotive repair training at an accredited technical/trade school or a minimum of one year of repair experience in a current‑model vehicle shop.
• Valid ASE certification (A1–A8, L1, L3) required; willing to obtain four ASEs for promotion.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory background check.
• Virginia State Inspection preferred, required within 90 days.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Minimum age 18 and able to complete required drug test.
