As a Naval Training Manager, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced Naval Training Manager who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication supporting the DON.
On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the sustainment of multiple legacy maintenance and supply systems. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like MS Suite, Power BI, and regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, customers, and project analysts.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the sustainment of multiple legacy maintenance and supply systems.
- Work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting.
- Help with tactical planning using resources like MS Suite, Power BI, and regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, customers, and project analysts.
- 10+ years of experience in curriculum development
- Experience with U.S. Navy programs and policies
- Experience with coursework development in the Navy’s Content Management Systems (CMS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Knowledge of OPNAVINST 1500.75
- Ability to work on a team or in an independent setting to deliver client work
- Bachelor’s degree in a Training Systems field such as Education or Psychology
- Experience with Storyline or Articulate software
- Experience with acquisition-related processes and deliverables such as Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), and Data Item Descriptions (DIDs)
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Confluence, and Jira
- Knowledge of optimizing information flow and recommending knowledge management solutions
- Knowledge of the principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effectiveness
- Ability to observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources
- Ability to effectively communicate complex information and ideas, verbally and in writing, to support informal and formal forums so others from various backgrounds and experience levels will understand
- Ability to operate within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple programs concurrently
- Qualified Naval Instructor or Master Training Specialist (MTS) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $ (annualized USD).
