YourRole
Your role is to work with general supervision and direction on average sized projects and as a team member of a larger project under the guidance of a Project Engineer.
You will be responsible for daily inspection efforts on multiple complex, large, and/or diverse projects in order to ensure contractor’s operations comply with project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Inspect and review projects during construction, monitoring conformance with plans, specifications, and other codes and regulations
- Monitor the progress of construction activities, ensuring cost, schedule and quality standards are met
- Generate daily inspector reports documenting construction activities, utilizing eConstruction processes, records and notify supervisor regarding any non‑conforming work
- Inspect and document contractor’s construction activities including maintenance of traffic, excavation, drainage systems, erosion/sediment/control, Hot Mix Asphalt and Concrete pavement, miscellaneous structures, and calculate quantities and costs
- Examine construction materials, checking to see if they meet specifications
- Review plans, specifications, submittals, construction schedules, shop drawings and pay applications
- Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned
- Basic skills in math, drafting, and science
- Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity and innovation
- Takes initiative on tasks and in coordinating with other members of the team
- Effectively communicates project issues with contractor, project team and clients
- High School / Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and construction experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience
Typical office environment: working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay range: $66,800.00/yr - $93,500.00/yr
- Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - Minimum salary $66,800.00 - Maximum salary $93,500.00

Summary:
