Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Health Care Systems is seeking a full-time experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant.

• The position includes both the OR and the Clinic and cases include a focus on spine with some general.
• This PA will support a Spine Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon.
• The position is two days in the OR and the balance is in the clinic.
• The new Physician Assistant will provide a mix of surgical first assist, consultation and patient follow-up and education, sin-visc and cortisone injections, pre and post H&P s, write scripts and review and order lab tests.
• The Physician Assistant will run a parallel clinic to the doctor.
• The position does not have any weekends and minimal evenings.
• This doctor requires orthopedic experience.
• The candidate must be NCCPA-Certified. Sorry, the Doctor will not train a new graduate.
• The location is within the Arlington, Virginia area.
