OB Hospitalist - PRN

Job Description
VHC Health is seeking a PRN OB/Gyn Hospitalist physician to join our Women's Health division.
This practice is supported by in-house anesthesia 24/7 as well as a level III NICU. Additionally, VHC health has robust Women's Health service line including 18 general OB/GYN physicians, one MIGS surgeon, one Urogynecologist, and one Gynecological Oncologist.
Responsibilities of this position include:
24 hour in-house call shifts
Antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care for OB patients from the VHC outpatient clinic as well as community practices
Gynecologic consult and surgical management for inpatient units and the emergency room
Physician back for complex obstetrical care
The physician is a member of the healthcare team who works in collaboration with other staff to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients. The scope of practice of each physician is defined through the health system's credentialing and privileging committee.

Required Qualifications
Doctorate from accredited medical school is required
Certifications/Licensure:
Licensed to Practice Medicine by the Virginia Department of Health Professions is required.
Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
