Unmanned Aircraft Systems Operator

Overview

Enlist as a soldier into the United States Army and become an Unmanned Aircraft Systems Operator who supervises or operates the UAV, to include mission planning, mission sensor/payload operations, launching, remotely piloting and recovering aerial vehicles.
NOT a civilian contractor position. No experience necessary. Position is entry level.

• Work as an intelligence specialist providing Army personnel with information about enemy forces and battle areas.
• Train and utilize specialized skills to conduct air reconnaissance, surveillance, targeting missions, and analyze aerial photographs.

• 10 weeks of Basic Training.
• 23 weeks of Technical School with on-the-job instructions.

• Between 17-34 years old.
• No felonies. (Defer Adjudication included).
• Current High School Senior, High school graduate or GED equivalent.

• Pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test.
