AH-Attack Helicopter Repairer

Overview

Enlist as a soldier into the United States Army and become an AH-64 attack helicopter repairer who is primarily responsible for the maintenance of the AH-64 attack helicopters (also known as the “Apache”). This is NOT a civilian contractor position.
No experience necessary. Position is entry level.

• Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions and mechanical flight controls.
• Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems.
• Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.

• 10 weeks of Basic Training.
• 17 weeks of Technical School with on-the-job instructions.

• 30 days paid vacation annually.

• Between 17-34 years old.
• No felonies. (Defer Adjudication included).
• Current High School Senior, High school graduate or GED equivalent.

• Pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test.
