Crown Innovations, Inc. is searching for Air Traffic Control Radar Technicians experienced in maintaining, optimizing, and installing digital Primary Airport Surveillance Radar (ASR) Systems (FAA ASR-9, ASR-1), FAA Secondary Radar Systems, and/or military primary radar systems. This role requires 100% travel.
Responsibilities- Install, test, optimize, and debug radar systems and related equipment.
- Ensure radar systems function properly and accurately.
- Assemble, install, and optimize equipment, following approved test plans to meet FAA commissioning criteria.
- Interpret radar data to identify potential threats or operational issues.
- Associate degree in electronics or electronic engineering technology, or equivalent military or FAA training certificates.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in radar signal processing, digital and analog circuits, microprocessors, antenna performance for primary and secondary radar systems, and ability to use diagnostic tools and software.
- Proficiency in reading electronic schematics and flowcharts.
- Understanding of electronic principles, radar signal processing, digital and analog circuits, microprocessors, and computer systems used in radar technology.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and software.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
