Responsibilities:
- Design, manage, and implement a range of environmental engineering projects, with a focus on storm drainage and stormwater management.
- Utilize advanced software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Water
GEMS, Infoworks, ICM, and InfoSWMM for designing and modeling. - Conduct hydraulic sewer calculations and cost estimates to ensure optimal project planning and execution.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into overall project plans.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, outcomes, and future projections.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and environmental regulations to ensure our projects meet or exceed all standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering, specifically in storm drainage and stormwater management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Water
GEMS, Infoworks, ICM, and InfoSWMM. - Proven experience in hydraulic sewer calculations and cost estimation.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring junior staff and leading project teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a knack for innovative and creative solutions.
- A professional engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
