About the Role

DeMarr Engineering currently seeks a Party Chief Surveyor to work on a variety of projects for our clients. This role will involve a mix of 1-2 days office work and 3-4 days of field work per week for the first year until we have a full schedule of field work. We apply the latest technology to bring value to help our clients solve their most challenging problems.

We have a Survey Technician with a FAA Part 107 certification to fly our lidar and photogrammetry drones. This Party Chief Role will require someone who understands boundary surveying, geodedic surveying, and is on a path for licensure, if not already licensed.

Responsibilities
  • Setup project control points.
  • Survey property boundaries with total station instrument.
  • Perform topographic surveys with total station, GNSS, LiDAR, and UAS.
  • Perform construction stakeouts & as-builts.
  • Perform wall checks, final location & height surveys.
  • QC review of field notes and data collection.
Required Skills & Experience
  • LSIT required or Land Surveyor (LS) licensure preferred.
  • NSPS CST Preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with Leica Total Station & GNSS Instruments
  • Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft office is preferred.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Clean driver's license record and ability to pass background checks for high security facilities.
