Mechanical Staff Engineer (MEP) – Arlington, VA

Bala Consulting Engineers is a 200‑person engineering firm headquartered in Wayne, PA with offices in New York, NY, Boston, MA, Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC.

We are looking for an ambitious Mechanical Engineer to work in our DC area office at Arlington, VA, who thrives on challenges and constantly pushes the norm. Suitable candidates should have knowledge and experience for all phases of building design, including construction administration and commissioning. Experience in managing and executing multiple projects in Revit and AutoCAD is required.

• 0–2 years of relevant Mechanical Engineering (MEP) experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• EIT status with goals to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of applicable codes
• Excellent technical, presentation and client interface skills
