This is a hybrid‑work opportunity with the selected candidate expected to report on‑site at our Crystal City, VA facility at least 2 days a week. Additional on‑site support may be required based on customer direction.

MEANINGFUL

WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
  • Perform secure baseline image creation and development of Windows Desktop OS images (Windows 11) for specific hardware configurations from a common core baseline.
  • Experience with the development and testing of operating system task sequences as well as software deployments with MECM.
  • Develop physical workstation images and VDI templates.
  • Design, develop, and evaluate software packages for server and workstation deployments.
  • Develop MECM task sequences for OS upgrades and software package deployments.
  • Troubleshoot OS and software deployment failures.
  • Troubleshoot MECM health issues, including Distribution Points and client remediation.
  • Design, develop, and administer Group Policy Objects for security compliance and configuration management.
  • Provide escalation support for Tier III/IV issues; collaborate with customers, stakeholders, vendors, and other support teams for troubleshooting and resolving problems.
  • Manage customer service requests through their lifecycle, from receiving the request through to its closure. Interface closely with customers to understand requirements and ensure satisfaction.
  • Show effective verbal and written communication skills; adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
  • Ensure compliance with established company and regulatory guidelines and procedures to provide high‑quality service and outstanding customer care.
  • Adhere to change management policies and take the necessary testing/development steps to mitigate risks with changes.
  • Install new hardware and software, ensuring all components (hardware, software, drivers, agents, etc.) interface correctly with each other and the network—including base software and applications such as antivirus and system monitoring tools.
  • Develop engineering documentation for Implementation Plans, Test Plans, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and network diagrams.
  • Participate in the planning and development of new or existing solutions to meet customer requirements and deployment timelines.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of direct MECM experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance required.
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification required.
  • MECM Server and application administration experience.
  • Windows 11 administration experience.
  • Microsoft Deployment Toolkit experience.
  • Active Directory/GPO administration experience.
  • Experience with Remote Access Technologies – VPN, IPSec, VDI (Citrix/VMware/AWS Workspace/Azure).
  • Understanding of DoD, DISA cybersecurity requirements.
