Senior Construction Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Manager to oversee a major capital program for interior renovations. This role requires a strong technical foundation, proven leadership in project management, and deep knowledge of federal regulations. The position will be full‑time.
Responsibilities- Manage the pre‑construction team for parts of the program.
- Review all documents and change orders.
- Coordinate with contractors, internal teams, and government representatives.
- Manage and review financial documents to ensure the project stays within budget.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
- Experience managing projects over $25 Million.
- PMP or any Project Manager Certification.
- Experience working on GSA projects or three‑letter agency renovations.
- Experience in large phased renovation projects.
- Knowledge of all building components, change orders, estimation, RFI, and Procore.
Skills & Qualifications
- Top Secret Clearance Required.
- Certifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification, Professional Engineering (PE) license, or equivalent.
100% on‑site; this office handles a multitude of projects, from healthcare to government, tenant fit‑outs, and commercial offices. This is a great opportunity to support a team that works on exciting projects across various types. The program is a 5‑year commitment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100.00 - $115.00/hr.
