We are seeking a skilled and dependable Building Engineer to join our team supporting a portfolio of Class A commercial office properties across the Washington, DC area. This role involves ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and overall performance of building systems while delivering exceptional service to tenants and ownership.

• Monitor, operate, and maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and general repairs as needed.
• Respond to tenant service requests and support daily building operations to maintain Class A standards.
• Assist with vendor coordination, building projects, and capital improvements.
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and documentation related to equipment and maintenance activities.

• Previous experience in building engineering, maintenance, or facilities management, preferably within commercial real estate.
• Strong understanding of building systems and operational best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., EPA Universal, CFC, or trade-specific credentials) preferred.
