The Department of Environmental Services (DES) is seeking a Traffic Systems Engineer to join our team! The Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) team within the Transportation Engineering and Operations (TEO) Bureau focuses on the design, analysis, and operations of traffic signals, streetlights, and ITS. This position is a unique opportunity to apply new technologies to transportation infrastructure to improve safety, operations, and efficiency.

This position will work with the County’s Department of Technology Services (DTS) to apply principles of information technology in conjunction with traffic engineering concepts to transportation systems.
