Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tax compliance and consulting work for clients, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
• Analyze an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
• Identify potential opportunities and risks and communicate these to our clients.
• Research current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
• Develop clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve our clients’ tax activities.
• Build long‑lasting relationships with clients by tailoring advice to their specific needs.
• Work with a motivated team of professionals, fostering collaboration across practices.
• Maintain a reputation in your field by constantly updating and sharing technical best practices.

Skills and Attributes for Success

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline; a graduate degree in Tax or Law is preferred.
• Progress toward a CPA or Enrolled Agent license.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in professional services or a professional tax organization.
• A thorough understanding of automated tax processing systems and laws within your area of technical professionalism.
• Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills, and the confidence to challenge senior colleagues and stakeholders.
• A commitment to continuing your learning.

Ideally, you will also have:

• A thorough understanding of state and local partnership tax.
• Proficiency in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Return Preparation Software.
• Experience working in a variety of teams.
• Ability to adapt your work style to collaborate with both internal and client team members.
