Contracts Specialist; Hybrid

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Contracts Specialist. This position is supporting a large DOD program in Ballston, VA, and requires at least a Secret clearance (can hold TS).

Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid: 1 day onsite)

Responsibilities:

As a Contracts Specialist, you will play a vital role in the Department of Defense Research & Development (FAR Part 35) contracts administration process. Your tasks will include:

· Skillfully preparing and administering terms and conditions for contracts that contribute to our national security objectives.

· Collaborating in contract negotiation efforts, analyzing proposed costs, and evaluating pricing strategies.

· Crafting contract modifications with precision and proficiency.

· Conducting in-depth analysis of procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

· Meticulously preparing and maintaining essential contract file documentation according to FAR, DFARS, and related regulations.

Qualifications:

· At least 6 years administering government contracts.

· Proficiency in administering contracts supporting the US Navy (NAVSEA preferred)

· Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, economics, law, or a related field, providing a well-rounded foundation for success.

· Secret or Top Secret clearance

Compensation:

· Annual salary: $140,000 to $170,000, depending on experience
