Program Analyst
Are you looking for an opportunity to demonstrate your defense acquisition system experience to support strategic Naval missile defense initiatives and programs? As a federal acquisition management professional at Booz Allen, you will serve as a Program Analyst providing day‑to‑day program management support for a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) client aiding in acquiring and delivering innovative and effective capabilities and solutions to the warfighter.
We’re looking for someone like you to be a liaison to the Government ensuring that their mission is our mission.
You Have- 5+ years of experience supporting a Major Defense Acquisition Program or Major System program
- Experience with execution of a single or multiple pathways or transition across pathways, preparing and managing program information documentation, and preparing and managing congressionally mandated reports, program briefs, correspondence, and responses to requests for information at the Flag and SES Levels
- Experience reviewing and editing written materials for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and guidance
- Experience with program task planning such as the annual NAVSEA task planning, budget programming and execution activities, and analyzing and tracking allocations, obligations, and expenditures
- Experience preparing, managing, and tracking pre‑award and post‑award contract documentation such as Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Procurement Requests (PRs), Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs), and procurement milestones within the Acquisition Management System (AMS) or procurement systems such as Sea Port Next Gen
- Knowledge of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF), Middle Tier of Acquisition (MTA), Major Capability Acquisition (MCA) or Software Acquisition (SWA) pathways, Contract Management, and Defense Resourcing
- Knowledge of the Defense Acquisition System and Defense Acquisition System federal laws, executive authorities, issuances, regulations, guidance, and standards
- Ability to be proactive, self‑motivated, and pay strict attention to detail
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in Microsoft Office 365 Suite applications, including Share Point
- Knowledge of Navy Governance frameworks and procedures such as Gate Reviews and Resources and Requirements Review Board
- Knowledge of authoritative system of records such as DAVE, RDAIS, Navy ERP, NEPS, AMS, PIEE, PBIS, and ASSIST
- Knowledge of contract strategy types and contract types
- Knowledge of Other Transition Authority, International Acquisition or Contracting for Foreign Military Sales, and special contracting methods such as multiyear procurement (MYP) and advance procurement (AP)
- Knowledge of AAF Pathway and functional policies, FAR, DFARS and PGI, NMCARs, Class Deviations, and FMR
- Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills

The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $ (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

Work Model- If this position is listed as remote or hybrid, you’ll periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.
