PositionSummary
ANSER is seeking a Senior Staff Action Officer for Intelligence Architecture and Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) to provide senior-level expertise and strategic staff support to USW(I&S) leadership. In this key role you will oversee enterprise PED programs, aligns intelligence architecture efforts across the DoD and Intelligence Community, and delivers actionable guidance on policy, resources, and requirements.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Provide PED subject matter expertise and direct counsel to senior leadership on intelligence and security programmatic issues, including policy, strategy, operations, funding, resources, and requirements.
- Provide oversight, management, and support for complex defense and military intelligence PED programs and capabilities.
- Support enterprise-level prioritization, tracking, de-confliction, and alignment of PED and infrastructure-related systems across CCMDs, Military Services, Combat Support Agencies, the IC, and partner entities.
- Coordinate acquisition synchronization and requirements identification for intelligence architecture and infrastructure programs.
- Conduct resource analyses and develop reports assessing budget execution and program management effectiveness across IPED portfolio programs.
- Support Congressional engagement by assisting with drafting testimony, responses to congressional inquiries, and appeals or reclamas related to oversight actions.
- Perform functional reviews and conduct research and analysis on enterprise intelligence and IT/PED initiatives.
- Draft and review formal staff products including briefings, talking points, information and position papers, memoranda, and correspondence.
- Represent USW(I&S) positions and equities in DoD, IC, and international policy, strategy, governance, and programming forums.
- Support development, review, and revision of enterprise-level strategy and policy for intelligence, ISR, IT, and PED activities.
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the DoD and/or Intelligence Community working Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) issues
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with IC infrastructure and architecture policy development, program oversight/guidance, and capabilities development and resourcing within DoD or IC on a military or interagency staff
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-level intelligence, IT, and PED programs and capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing senior leaders and supporting Congressional engagements
- Ability to synthesize complex technical, operational, and programmatic information into clear staff recommendations
- Experience coordinating across CCMDs, Military Services, Combat Support Agencies, the Intelligence Community, and international partners
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-visibility initiatives simultaneously
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, senior-staff environment
