Come join our family! OWLS Therapy is currently looking to hire three (3) full-time, highly-qualified speech pathologists!

About you:

Are you a sociable and organized SLP who enjoys working with children and always wants to be learning new skills to help them meet their goals? If you want the flexibility to work independently but still be part of a team, keep reading because we might be the perfect practice for you!

About us:

OWLS Therapy is a boutique private practice offering speech language therapy in clients’ homes and schools around Northern Virginia (predominantly Alexandria and Arlington). We love our clients, but more than anything, we LOVE our therapists! We believe that happy therapists make happy clients so for us, it all starts with supporting our therapists to be the best that they can be!

About the position:

For the detail lover who dot’s Is and crosses Ts:
• Travel to clients’ homes/schools to provide 30, 45, or 60 minute therapy sessions
• Educate parents/caregivers with knowledge and activities to support generalization of skills
• Provide thorough evaluations and develop a plan of care to maximize a child’s skill set
• Maintain clear and descriptive therapy notes

About the boring stuff:

• Must be available for 20-25 hours/week of direct therapy (Monday-Thursday, Fridays are for make-ups and evals)
• Per Diem or salaried positions available
• Must be available for “after-school” hours (3-6:00pm)
• Must hold an active Virginia license from the Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology
• Must have ASHA CCC’s (sorry but NO clinical fellowship!)
• Must have reliable transportation allowing travel to clients’ homes/schools

If you made it this far, you must be interested! Email your resume and a cover letter detailing why you are the right fit for this role!
