Strategic Analysis, Inc (SA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical SETA Specialist to join the Proactive Health Office at ARPA‑H. The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in mental health and health behavior research, including experience working with patient populations as a clinician or conducting population health behavior change; digital innovation; and business planning, marketing, and commercialization toward the broad uptake of innovative health solutions.
This role requires a unique blend of technical, business, regulatory, and collaborative skills to guide the development of innovative health solutions that enhance wellness and improve patient care and outcomes.
Skills:
Work closely with others of diverse and complementary backgrounds to achieve program goals and ensure effective interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Doctoral degree in psychology, public health, or a related field (e.g., medicine) with expertise conducting research and clinical work with patient populations or promoting population health behavior change (e.g., modification of psychological symptoms or health behavior).
- Support project planning, execution, and documentation, ensuring alignment with ARPA‑H's mission and Proactive Health Office objectives.
- Expertise in leveraging AI-supported solutions (e.g., model selection, training considerations) and digital technologies such as remote monitoring for personalized adaptive treatment strategies.
- Familiarity with current trends in digital technologies for healthcare.
- Insight into clinical care models, healthcare challenges, and regulatory and ethical considerations in digital health.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the challenges and emerging opportunities in implementing digital technologies for healthcare.
- Assist and advise on business planning, commercial marketing, product development, intellectual property. Evaluate potential proactive health solutions for the likelihood of broad uptake and commercialization.
Skills:
- Track record of successful collaboration with others from diverse roles (e.g., clinicians, scientists) and fields (e.g., medicine, engineering, biology) to achieve interdisciplinary program goals.
- Awareness of data privacy, security, and ethical concerns in using personal health data within digital applications.
- Doctoral degree in psychology, public health, or a related field (e.g., medicine).
- Experience conducting research and working with patient populations as a clinician or in promoting population health behavior change.
- Understanding of human participant protections and ethical concerns.
