The Weekend Alternative Radiographer will perform radiographic procedures at a technical level, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis with minimal supervision.
Purpose & Scope- Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level.
- Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis.
- Assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required.
- Associate’s degree in radiography required.
- Graduate of an accredited certificate program for radiography required.
- One year of healthcare/medical radiology experience preferred.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- BLS certification required.
