Overview
Purpose & Scope: EKG Technicians are responsible for performing EKGs. Assist cardiologist with Stress Testing. Applying and removing Holter Monitors. Have the ability to retrieve and communicate information in a written, oral or visual fashion. Speaking, writing and telephone skills as well as manual dexterity are required for this position. Light typing is required.
EducationHigh school diploma is preferred.
ExperienceOne year of EKG experience is preferred.
Certification/LicensureNone.
