ResponsibilitiesThe Patient Safety Technician works under the direct supervision of a licensed RN and is an active member of the health care team. Duties include feeding, dressing, toileting, observing changes in patient status, maintaining patient safety for those confused or at high risk for falls, providing a clean and safe environment, assisting with departmental tasks, transporting patients, unit secretary tasks, and other related duties.
Technicians must be empathetic and possess strong communication skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
ExperienceExperience in Customer Service is preferred.
Certification/LicensureBLS certification is required.
