Rooms and Events Coordinator - Hilton Arlington National Landing
The Hilton Arlington National Landing is seeking a full‑time Rooms and Events Coordinator to support the Catering & Events Managers and the Front Office department. This 393‑room hotel is in National Landing, just five minutes from Ronald Reagan National Airport and three blocks from the Metro.
Shift PatternBusiness hours Monday through Friday with flexibility for early, late, weekend, or holiday openings.
Pay Rate$24.00 per hour.

- Plan and prioritize duties, developing plans and goals.
- Maintain timely communication via phone, email, written documents, or in person with internal and external clients.
- Handle phone calls and email inquiries while greeting catering and event guests professionally.
- Process group reservation information, including rooming lists, suites, resumes, and billing requirements.
- Communicate and verify information between meeting planners, housing bureaus, meetings & conventions, and front office.
- Assist with reservation requests and internal/external customers.
- Coordinate and implement department activities and projects.
- Provide clerical support and assistance to management on special projects.
- Input programs into booking systems, manage VIP guest arrangements, and coordinate site visits.
- Create and communicate documents such as BEOs, group resumes, post‑event reports, menus, diagrams/floor plans.
- Work with affiliate groups and assist clients in meeting their expectations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems, and processes.
- Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues to determine the best solution.
- Ensure high‑quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs.
- Participate in site inspections and assist the sales process as necessary.
- Perform other duties as needed based on business requirements.
- One year of hotel experience at the front desk or reservations.
- Knowledge of the hotel reservation management system OnQ and/or Delphi FDC.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
