- Cleanliness:
Responsible for cleaning and ensuring necessary amenities and supplies are in guest rooms. Ensures cart, linens, rooms, and equipment are clean and in working order. - Guest Service:
Accountable for guest satisfaction as it pertains to housekeeping service. Responds to requests in a positive and timely manner while providing high-quality service. Works as a team player to meet guest and department needs and contributes to other departments as necessary. Follows Holiday Inn’s guest service recovery program. - Safety/
Risk Management:
Maintains a clean and safe work area in compliance with brand, local, state, and federal regulations. Inspects rooms for maintenance needs and reports issues. Uses chemicals safely and follows procedures for incidents and hotel emergency procedures. - Self-Management:
Plans, organizes, and prioritizes work; adheres to attendance, grooming, appearance standards, and department procedures. Attends required meetings and uses equipment and supplies properly.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Hotel housekeeping/laundry experience preferred. Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to perform duties in a repetitive and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds on a consistent basis throughout shift.
