The beautiful Hilton Arlington National Landing is seeking a full-time Rooms and Events Coordinator to join their team! This beautiful, 393-room hotel is in National Landing, less than five minutes from Ronald Reagan National Airport and only three blocks to the metro for easy access to downtown DC, five miles away.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate for this position will possess one (1) year hotel experience, either at the front desk or in reservations. It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: knowledge of the hotel reservation management system OnQ and/or Delphi FDC.
Shift PatternCandidates should be available to work business hours Monday through Friday with some flexibility to come in early/stay late, as well as some weekends/holidays as needed.
Pay Rate$24.00 per hour.

- Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals.
- Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person.
- Handle phone calls, e‑mails and greet clients for Catering and Events in a professional, courteous manner.
- Process group reservation information including rooming lists, suites, resumes and billing requirements.
- Communicate and verify information between Meeting Planners, Housing Bureaus, Meetings and Conventions and Front Office.
- Process reservation request calls as appropriate, assisting internal and external customers.
- Coordinate and implement department activities and projects.
- Provide clerical support and assistance to management on special projects as needed.
- Input programs into booking systems, manage VIP guest arrangements, and coordinate site visits.
- Create and communicate documents including but not limited to BEOs, group resumes, post‑event reports, menus, diagrams/floor plans.
- Work with affiliate groups.
- Assist clients and deliver on the client’s expectations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems and processes.
- Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues and determining the best solution for the client.
- Ensure high quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand the guest needs.
- Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary.
