Senior Human Resources Generalist

• Provide comprehensive HR support across daily operations, acting as a key point of contact for employee needs and inquiries.
• Address employee relations concerns and assist with HR-related questions and workplace matters.
• Facilitate new hire onboarding and employee separation processes.
• Ensure adherence to HR policies, regulatory requirements, and established compliance deadlines.
• Prepare and submit required federal reports, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Partner with payroll to verify employee information, review payroll records, and communicate necessary updates.
• Collaborate with senior HR leadership on complex employee matters and escalated HR issues.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on HR generalist experience
• Federal reporting experience and knowledge of government contractor HR compliance requirements required.
• Strong understanding of employment laws, HR compliance, and reporting deadlines.
• Experience managing employee relations, onboarding, offboarding, and general HR operations.
• Experience reviewing payroll registers and coordinating payroll-related changes.
• Prior HR experience in a federal government contracting environment strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree and/or SHRM certification preferred.
