Database Analysts

VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking Database Analysts to support a NAVSEA Ship Acquisition Program in the DMV Area.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Database Analysts will provide acquisition, GFE/GFI, finance/budget database management and technical support to a NAVSEA new ship construction and sustainment Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP).

• Support Navy Participating Acquisition Resource Manager (PARM) teams with GFE program database management
• Collect, organize and format data to support preparation of program status reports, briefings and presentations
• Provide technical assistance developing complex queries, updating data, managing look-up tables
• Provide GFE database administration support, train and assist users and perform database maintenance
• Work with cross-functional teams, field offices and vendors at multiple work locations to collect inputs
• Assist with the evaluation and implementation of process and procedures to improve efficiency and performance
• Organize, research and manage multiple tasks

• 4+ years of relevant DoD database management and SharePoint management experience
• Experience providing program management technical assistance, developing complex queries, updating data, managing look-up tables
• Experience providing database administration support, performing database maintenance and training and assisting users
• Experience working with GFE/GFI database systems
• Proficient using MS Office
  365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
• Familiar with N-ERP
• Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, research, and prioritization skills
• Meticulous attention to detail in organizing, formatting and managing program data
• Ability to operate independently within a team environment
• Active DoD Secret Clearance

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8 years of relevant DoD database/technical data analytics experience
• Experience using MS Access and advanced MS Excel skills
