Senior Acquisition Analyst
Join K , Inc. as a Senior Acquisition Analyst in the K ’s Mission Engineering Division located in Arlington, VA (Pentagon). The Division delivers complex technical solutions and expert support to the U.S. Department of War, specializing in modeling and simulation, cyber transformation, air vehicle mission integration, and lifecycle support. We collaborate closely with clients to develop innovative solutions while maintaining a strong ethical framework and prioritizing data security, privacy, and responsible information management.
Responsibilities- Support the OPNAV N4I C‑UAS Team, applying acquisition subject‑matter expertise to OPNAV planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of C‑sUAS/CuXS developmental projects. Coordinate with stakeholders in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Services, and other DoD and U.S. Government organizations.
- Maintain situational awareness of current and developing UAS threats and C‑sUAS solutions, following DoD SOPs, policies, and acquisition procedures.
- Coordinate and lead program‑management reviews of active RDT&E projects to develop C‑sUAS solutions and manage corrective actions for underperforming projects.
- Lead annual reviews of RDT&E proposals, identify acquisition courses of action, and staff proposals through the approval process. Provide accurate budgeting and planning for current and future fiscal years.
- Provide project‑management coordination and leadership for DON‑led projects, coordinating operational planning teams and working groups with staff and external stakeholders for special subjects/issues.
- Prepare written products (emails, presentations, reports, executive summaries) in accordance with OPNAV procedures and policies, supporting the Project Objective Memorandum and budget formulation process.
- Display strong oral and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Possess a working understanding of the relationships and responsibilities of the DON, including the offices of the Secretary of the Navy and the Chief of Naval Operations. Manage requests for information from Congress, OSD, and the Services.
- U.S. Citizen
- Active Secret‑level security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- At least 4 years of related work experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM or business field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of related work experience
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Master’s Degree in a related field
Scheduled weekly hours: 40 hours per week.
