AGE Solutions is seeking a Palo Alto Network Engineer to support a DoD program. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, high‑performance network infrastructures that comply with DoD cybersecurity standards. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge of Palo Alto Networks technologies, combined with experience in mission‑critical defense environments.

This position is on‑site in Rosslyn, Virginia.

• Configure, deploy, and manage Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, and related security infrastructure
• Implement and maintain secure network architectures in accordance with DoD standards
• Conduct network performance monitoring, capacity planning, and optimization
• Develop and maintain detailed network diagrams, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Support vulnerability assessments and remediation activities

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Five (5) years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focused on Palo Alto firewalls
• Have an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Experience configuring, managing, and optimizing Palo Alto Firewalls directly and via Panorama
• Understanding of Palo Alto features such as App-, User-, URL filtering, Global Protect VPN, and threat prevention
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs).
• Familiarity with DoD security and compliance frameworks
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced, environment

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk.

Compensation: $135,000 - $155,000
