Role DescriptionAs a Founding Engineer, you will shape Triangle’s core technical foundation. You will design and deploy machine learning systems that model voter and donor behavior, build scalable data pipelines, and develop the algorithms that drive our predictive and optimization platforms.
You’ll be working directly with the founding team from Harvard and MIT, creating technology that strengthens how campaigns and civic organizations operate.
Responsibilities- Design and deploy advanced machine learning models that solve real-world problems in the political sphere.
- Implement scalable data ingestion pipelines and optimize models for accuracy and performance.
- Build reliable systems for real-time data processing and prediction.
- Contribute to early product design, architecture, and technical decision-making.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in deep learning and model deployment.
- Proficiency in PyTorch, Tensor Flow, or related frameworks.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive, first-principles approach.
- Advanced (Master’s or PhD) degree in a machine learning–related field.
- Experience working with large-scale behavioral or time-series data.
- Prior startup or early-stage experience.
- Founding-stage equity and direct influence on product and architecture decisions
- Collaborate with a team of Harvard and MIT engineers and advisors tackling one of democracy’s most pressing problems.
