Senior Solutions Architect, AWS Certification

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Training & Certification team is seeking a driven, talented, and experienced AWS Solutions Architect to advise on the technical accuracy and clarity of certification exam questions and to support the development of custom software solutions and integrations for the development, delivery, and maintenance of AWS certification exams.

As an AWS subject matter expert, you will advise question writers with technical expertise and acumen for exam development, provide leadership for certification exam evolution, and help automate manual processes. Where applicable, you will apply AWS GenAI services to maintain exam integrity, detect fraud, provide predictive analytics, and improve operational efficiency.

• Participate in managing, monitoring, and developing technical certification exam questions
• Design and manage development of internal applications to support exam development, maintenance, analytics, and fraud detection
• Recommend ways to incorporate Generative AI into internal applications and processes
• Maintain the technical bar for a cadre of expert technical question writers

Travel: occasional travel may be required.

The AWS Certification team is responsible for validating a learner’s AWS knowledge and skills. There are currently 12 different Foundational, Associate, Professional, and Specialty exams that result in certifications used by candidates to measure their knowledge and skills, and by employers to find candidates with the knowledge and skills to perform tasks around AWS and AI.

• 7+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures
• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
• Experience with Amazon Bedrock or Sage Maker
