We are seeking an experienced Senior Dev Sec Ops  Engineer to support a high-complexity, compliance-driven hybrid infrastructure
. This on-site role is part of a mission‑aligned team that delivers a comprehensive “
IT department in a box ” solution‑providing full lifecycle coverage from architecture and automation to operations, hardening, and continuous compliance.

The Senior Dev Sec Ops  Engineer will drive infrastructure‑as‑code initiatives, implement secure automation workflows, and maintain the integrity of complex systems across Red Hat Linux
, Windows
, and VMware environments. You will help integrate security into every stage of infrastructure and software deployment‑supporting both technical performance and compliance mandates.

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) pipelines using tools such as Ansible
  , Terraform
  , and YAML‑based workflows to support system automation and consistency.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines that include compliance checks, patching workflows, and configuration validation.
• Automate patching processes across platforms (e.g.,
  WSUS for Windows,
  Red Hat Satellite for Linux) to ensure timely and secure updates.
• Experience with Ansibile for patching playbooks or compliance scan integration (e.g.
  OpenSCAP or ACAS
  ).
• Enforce security baselines such as STIGs
  , CIS Benchmarks
  , and other regulatory hardening requirements across hybrid infrastructure.
• Provide hands‑on expertise across hybrid environments including Red Hat Linux
  , Windows
  , VMware vSphere
  , and identity federation systems.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure systems meet audit and reporting requirements, with continuous monitoring and remediation.
• Troubleshoot deployment, integration, and performance issues with an automation‑first mindset.
• Work closely with architects and operations staff to align automation strategies with stakeholder priorities and mission‑critical needs.
• Maintain and contribute to configuration repositories, automation playbooks, and documentation to support transparency and reproducibility.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Dev Ops
  , infrastructure engineering
  , or system automation in hybrid environments.
• Proficient in Ansible
  , YAML
  , Linux System Management
  , and scripting languages such as Bash
  , Power Shell
  , or Python
  .
• Strong understanding of STIG implementation
  , security compliance practices, and system hardening.
• Hands‑on experience managing and automating workflows across Linux, Windows, and VMware platforms.
• Familiarity with RHEL
  , WSUS
  , and patch compliance frameworks
  .
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git Lab CI/CD

  , or similar frameworks.
• Comfortable operating within regulated or compliance‑sensitive environments (DoD, federal, or other high‑security domains).
