We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer V (Onsite - Engineer Extreme Certified) to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial to ensuring the security and compliance of our software development processes. If you have a demonstrated and advanced background in Extreme network engineering and have one of the following certifications: IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification, CCNA Certification or equivalent, and an active Secret clearance, we encourage you to apply.

• BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years' experience or substitute with AA/AS with 7+ years' experience.
• One of the following IAT Level II certifications (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification. Applications without a certificate will not be considered.
• CNA Certification or equivalent required. Applications without a certificate will not be considered.
• Extreme Networks Associate (XNA) certification required. Applications without a certificate will not be considered.
• 10+ years of relevant experience working with network infrastructure, with a focus on Extreme Networks products and solutions.
• Experience with:
• VMware NSX:
  Install, Configure, Manage (V6.2).
• Ruckus Layer 2 Switches / Wireless Controller / Wireless Access Points.
• Palo Alto Networks Firewall knowledge of PA-7050 / PA-3060 / PA-3260 / PA-5450 / Wild Fire/URL Filtering.
• Brocade MPLS Implementation Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches.
• Cisco Networks switches and routers.
• Aruba Networks Excellent knowledge of Wireless Controllers / Access Points /
• Airwave / Clear Pass.
• Ciena 100G OME 6500 DWDM System.
• Extreme Networks Layer 2/3, MLXE Switches /Extreme IQ / OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
• Solar Winds, InMon Sentinel, Uptrends.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Have the ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure
• U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Security clearance.

Job Duties:

• Onsite Senior Network Engineer to provide expertise on Extreme Networks products and solutions.
• Must be able to provide networking concepts, protocols and technology recommendations, including but not limited to LAN, WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and network security.
• Maintain Extreme Networks products such as switches, routers, access points, and network management tools.
• Manage network related projects, including planning, implementation, documentation, including network upgrades, migrations and infrastructure expansions.
