CGI Federal is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines and systems that support client data needs. You will work with other technical teams to ensure that data flows seamlessly across systems and meets client business needs. This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office with work performed at client site in Arlington, VA.

• Design and build scalable data pipelines to support data ingestion, transformation, and analysis.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and design appropriate solutions.
• Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and accessible for analytical use.
• Optimize data systems for performance and scalability.
• Mentor junior data engineers and guide them in best practices.

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data pipeline frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data integration tools.
• Experience working with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.

• Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, or similar big data technologies.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.

Compensation range: A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
