Job Description This position requires expertise in cybersecurity, security engineering, security assessment and testing, and information system security oversight activities supporting complex systems against sophisticated threat actors. We are looking for an accomplished, creative, and self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities include:
Applying federal and organizational directives to manage system security operations.Supporting federal information system documentation, including:
System Security Plan (SSP), Security Concept of Operations (SECONOPs), architectural overviews, System Security Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for assessments/security activities, system configurations for devices and software, vulnerability and penetration test results, security incident reports, and system security performance metrics.Reporting on threat actor capabilities to clarify security requirements and implement solutions.Researching and assessing the impacts of system modifications and technological advances on security.Reviewing system security documentation to identify vulnerabilities, recommend improvements, implement changes, and document security-relevant updates.Supporting source code analysis.Reviewing, evaluating, and analyzing system documentation within the portfolio.Qualifications
Clearance:
Top Secret (SCI access eligibility) Required
7+ years of experience in a related field.Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.At least one year of progressive, specialized experience as an ISSO or similar role, including generating security documentation such as requirements, assessments, compliance reports, SOPs, and test results.Professional certification such as DoD 8570 IAT Level I.Minimum 1 year of Unix/Linux system administration experience.Minimum 1 year of Microsoft Windows system administration experience.Experience with vulnerability scanning and assessment tools.Splunk experience (Preferred).Proficiency in industry writing style, including grammar, sentence structure, and clarity.Strong initiative, attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking.Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent work ethic and high commitment to quality.Additional Information
