Position: Technical Writer with Security Clearance
Job Description ECS is seeking a Technical Writer to work in our Arlington, VA office.

Please Note:

This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities to include:
* Documenting all knowledge-based information, processes, and procedures.
* Serve as a Technical Writer in the Service Desk and in other OIG areas for the documentation of OCIO support and services.
* The Technical Writer will be responsible for designing/creating/maintaining technical and knowledge-based documentation including (but not limited to):
* Knowledge Repository
* OIGNEWSLINK Articles
* Process/Procedure Documents
* Online Help
* User guides
* White papers
* Requirements documents
* Use cases
* Documentation of items escalated to OIG Tier III and Engineering personnel Required Skills
* Must have at least three (3) years of IT technical writing experience.
* Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail.
* Must have the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and visuals.
* Proficient with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, VISIO, and Adobe Acrobat.
* Experienced in version control management and managing/maintaining the technical writing repository.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills and knowledge of industry standards and best practices for technical documentation.
